ELIZABETH Watmore, a year 13 pupil at Mount Kelly, completed the London Marathon in four hours and 36 minutes. To prepare for the marathon she committed her time to many hours of rigorous training alongside studying for her A levels.

Elizabeth said: ‘It was a truly amazing experience, all in honour of my nanny who was taken away from us at only 69 after her battle with Parkinson’s.’
