LAST Thursday members of Hurdwick Golf Club played an away match against Chulmleigh Golf Club in North Devon. The players said it was a charming par three course designed to test their short game. The accuracy needed in order to hit the greens and local knowledge just proved too much for the visitors, who were warmly welcomed by the hosts.
