HURDWICK Golf Club played their annual away match against Bovey Tracey Golf Club last week. Always an enjoyable affair between the two clubs there were six doubles matches, played out in the best of spirits, that ended up in the whole match being drawn three points each. Mike Murray and Harry Bee for Hurdwick who, four down after four holes, managed to win three and two. Steve LaRoche, along with his captain, were four down with five to play but came back to halve their match. The clubs are now looking forward to a return match in September.
