THE surge in cycling membership at Tavistock Wheelers continues — last Sunday the club were delighted to accept an application to join from its newest member, Jordan Channon, which takes the total membership up to 100.

More than 40 of these riders turned up in Bedford Square and split into three ability groups. The fittest and fastest groups did more than 60 miles while the development group covered a more sedate 35 miles.

However, they all managed to co-ordinate their arrival at the café stop, Lifton Farm Shop and enjoyed the sun and the cakes.
