HORRABRIDGE Rangers followed up their recent DJM Europa Cup success with another victory, this time in the superb Son Rise Cup.

Horrabridge U9s have such a strong squad that they were able to enter two teams with HRSA Athletic coming joint third and HRSA Rangers winning the cup.

Coach Paul Allen and all of the players thank their 'fantastic' group of supporters and also Allen, Di, Will and all of the team who put on the event. Paul would also like to thank his back room staff — Rich, Jim and Jon.

Last week end Horrabridge Rangers U9s attended the DJM Trophy Finals event at Marjons, having qualified through the knock stages over the last month.

They beat Saltash Eagles in the semi-finals 2-0 with goals from  Reuben Pascoe and Josh Downing-Hewes. In the final the Horrabridge side beat hosts Plymouth Marjon in a 1-0 victory, thanks to a great header from Josh Downing-Hewes.

The whole squad was outstanding but additional mention should go to Jaiden Higgins in goal and captain Archie Wall.
