Hire Class 17

TT3 started of slowly but Jade Coupland and Sky Greta May made it difficult in defence for Hire Class to pass the ball in to the shooters.

Charlotte Hill and Tamara Hicks combined well in attack with centre Hannah Cole feeding Loraine Hucker. Tracy Coupland worked tirelessly at WD picking up loose balls.

In the first quarter Hire Class led 4-2.

Siobhan Rescorla came on at GS for the Tavistock side and used her height to her advantage. TT3 started to work well together.

Lisa Chamberlain made good use of the circle edge to her advantage, taking the back line passes from May. The second quarter ended 10-4 to Hire Class. Coupland senior went on at centre for TT3 with Cole replacing Chamberlain, who went off injured. Cole battled well at WD coming forward in front of her player for the ball.  TT3 struggled with movement off the ball when in possession.

Hill picked up some intercepts from the Hire Class back line passes but TT3 could not convert.  

TT3 started the final quarter 4-14 down knowing they had to cut out the basic errors. This they did producing a good passage of play with Coupland junior picking up a superb intercept.

Rescorla scored the first goal of the quarter to lift TT3. The defence put a lot of pressure to win the quarter 5-3 but it was not enough to overcome their opponents.
