THE Six Moor Miles Race held earlier this monthsaw runners take to the moorlands, starting at Yelverton for this charity event.

Organisers Plymouth Harriers Running Club presentated £500 to HeartSWell volunteer Monica Olver, on behalf of the charity, from the money it raised on the day.

The race provided a unique opportunity to run a one lap course of approximately six miles, in the picturesque surroundings of the Maristow Estate, across open moorland. Many members from local running clubs in West Devon took part.

The charity thanked Plymouth Harriers for their ‘fantastic donation’.
