HATHERLEIGH Ladies won the Exmouth eight-a-side ladies cricket tournament on Sunday.
They reached the final by beating Sandford and Plymouth but losing to Exmouth. In the final against Whitchurch, Hatherleigh batted first and posted 70 in eight overs with Frances Lausen top scoring with 21 not out.
An excellent all round performance in the field restricted Whitchurch to 49 with the highlights being Kirsty Tidball taking two wickets in two economical overs and Briony Harris taking a superb catch on the boundary.
