DURING the winter months each Sunday morning a group of dedicated young players have braved the Devon weather to develop their rugby skills.

With more than 50 signed up players aged seven and under the mini section has enjoyed great success this year at Tavistock RFC.

While the U6s have trained each week at the club, the U7s have been pitting their skills home and away against clubs across the Devon county. With support of RB Haulage of Yelverton and SJP Motor Services in Tavistock, the U7s have been able to field at least four teams each week, far surpassing any other club across the county for the number of enthusiastic players.
