THE Mount House girls' first team and the U9s both performed well in separate hockey tournaments — both emerging with great credit.

The firsts came top of the pool in the group stages of the Bryanston Tournament, winning 1-0 against Dumpton, Sunninghill and Castle Court through goals from Emma Manton (2) and Jess Huntington. In the semi-final against Port Regis, the score was 0-0, a match that was cited as the game of the tournament.

In the Plymouth College U9s tournament, Mount House finished fourth, after beating tournament winners Kelly College 1-0 through a well-taken goal from Lizzie Elderfield.
