THE June Stableford competition for Yelverton Golf Club ladies incorporated the Grandmothers' cup. Sammie Giles won the silver section with 35 points. With 38 points the bronze winner was Elizabeth Calder, who received the trophy from the lady captain Diane Reardon. Elizabeth said that she was looking forward to telling her four grandchildren that she is a successful golfing grandmother.
