KELLY PREP pupils enjoyed taking part in the school's annual sports day. With reception and nursery pupils enjoying egg and spoon and flat races, years 1 and 2 completing the obstacle race, flat race and both cricket ball throw and long jump.
There were many records broken included Lottie Trevethan who ran 57 seconds in the Year 4 300m. Five long jump records were broken Year 3 boys Ben Pitts, Year 4 boys Matthew Twyman, Year 5 girls Gabrielle Wardle, Year 6 boys Jonathan Hawley and Year 6 girls Danuse Horka. Pippi Harris broke the Year 3 girls cricket ball throw with a distance of 16.20m
The winning team was Lyd with Tamar coming second. All those who took part enjoyed the event and were supported by a large number of parents.
