THE players of Yelverton Bohemians Cricket Club had a useful warm up match against a strong Cornwood team.

In a 35 over match Cornwood batted first and with nine first team players they ended up with 190 for 5.

Iain Cunningham was the pick of the Yelverton bowlers picking up three wickets.

The total was always going to be a challenge for the Yelverton batsmen especially against an A division opening attack.

Gerry Keen (30) and Iain Cunningham (27) were the main contributers as Yelverton ended up with 97 for 8.
