YELVERTON  Golf Club veterans held an individual Stableford competition on October 28. First, with 42 points was Ray Bennett. Second equal with 41 pts were Tim Douglas-Riley and Martin Blampey while equal third, on 39pts were Steve Bryant, David Jeremiah and Alan Hoskin.

The West of England seniors/veterans inter county championship was held at Saunton Golf Club on October 22.

The counties of Devon, Cornwall and Somerset each fielded seven teams of eight players playing a better ball Stableford competition over the East and West Courses. Devon won the inter county event. Saunton Golf Club won the club team event with Yelverton second.
