THIS month’s ladies’ medal competition at Yelverton Golf Club was won by Denise Wills.  The winners of the year’s qualifying comp-etitions were eligible for the Evelyn West trophy.  The winner was Kate Wright.

Rosamund Kikidas and Jacqueline Clink won the the Daily Mail Foursomes.

The club’s men veterans held their weekly three ball Stableford competition on November 15.

In first place, with 84 points, Nick Ring, Len Waterfield and Noel Preston-Jones. Second, on 81pts were Alan Malton, Bob Carwithen and Steve Bryant, while in third, on 75pts were Malcolm Potter, David Hanley and Chris Willis. Steve Bryant scored ’a hole in one’ on the first hole.
