Offwell Rangers 3 Chagford Reserves 5 FOLLOWING a fine performance in a midweek friendly at fourth division Bow Reserves, Chagford Reserves opened their league campaign in the best way possible, taking all three points. Young Liam O'Connell followed his goal at Bow with another on Saturday and Sebastian Loram scored again, after his own double against South Zeal during the week. Further goals were scored by Jai Minett, Stuart Potter and Jerome Whatley. Whatley's finish was all the more sweet for his competitive comeback from a serious injury sustained two years ago. Overall, the squad played well and, with apparent 'strength in depth', the club feels it has every chance of a decent place in the league this season.
