THE ladies of Yelverton Golf Club played for a medal and the Pat Gove trophy.

The winner of division one and the trophy was Gilly Jarvis with a nett 71, runner-up was Marie Deeny on nett 81.

In division two the winner was Verna Isaac, nett 80, and runner-up Kay Creaven on nett 83.

The trophy was presented by the past lady captain, Pat Gove, on her Captain's Day in 2002.

In the club championships, a 36 holer on the same day, the winners was Caitlin Evans-Brand   76+72 = 148 on the back to runner-up Barbara Collier 71+77 = 148.

The Underhill handicap cup to the best net score over 36 holes during the Club Championships, was won by Caitlin Evans-Brand. The gross winner was Gilly Jarvis 75+80 = 155; runner-up Barbara Collier  88+94 = 182.

The Underhill Scratch cup to be presented to the best gross score over 36 holes was won by Gilly Jarvis.

Gilly has now won this cup 12 times.

This score was her best ever result for the club championships.
