TAVISTOCK Community Football Club ladies’ football team walked seven laps of Burrator Reservoir to raise money for the team.

The intrepid ladies walked just over 27 miles, and started at 10am and finished just after 8pm!

Tania Coker for the team said: ‘It was definitely a challenge, the most gruelling one yet! But we are hoping to have raised just under £1,000 which will help us to buy kit, equipment and with the running costs of our team!’ 

This Sunday TCFC ladies are at home to Plympton Ladies. 3pm kick-off at Crowndale.
