Eight minutes later the Lambs doubled their advantage when another great passing move saw Grant’s perfect pass split the home defence open and put Prynn in on goal – again he showed his composure and fired low into the corner of the net.
The Lambs continued to dominate the game with captain Lewis Daw and Josh Robins both having efforts well saved by Brown.
The fine football the Lambs were playing resulted in them extending their lead on the half hour. A great move saw Grant find Jack Crago whose his fine pass found Leon Prynn who then fired home to complete his hat-trick.
Just before the interval Warren Daw was forced to leave the the field with a thigh injury and he was replaced by Tallin Burns in midfield.
The Lambs had a sloppy 15 minutes at the start of the second half, when they looked to have taken their foot of the gas, and Torpoint certainly came more into the game. The home side dominated possession and deservedly took the lead in the 18th minute when a free kick on the left saw Josh Grant head home.
Jack Crago, Josh Grant, Leon Prynn and Kelvin Fyneboy then had efforts saved or blocked by last ditch defending.
In the 42nd minute the Lambs lost Dan Evans with an ankle injury so Fyneboy moved into the back line and Tallin Burns took his slot in the middle of the park.
Two minutes later Burns made his mark on the game when he finished off a fine move as he rifled the ball home from 22 yards, to give the Lambs a two-goal lead at the interval.
The home side dominated the second half creating numerous scoring opportunities with Grant, Crago and Burns all missing good chances to increase the home team’s lead.
The elusive third goal came on the hour, when short corner kick to Burns saw his fine cross headed home by Grant. Two minutes later from a corner kick Prynn was on hand to prod the ball home from close range.
Home keeper Josh Oak was then called into action to make a fine save to deny Lowry from scoring for the visitors.

THIS game last Thursday night was the eighth in 12 days for the Lambs.
Tavistock manager Stuart Henderson had no option but to ring the changes in his overworked squad. Resting both centre backs Lewis Daw and Dan Evans, Luke Brown returned from suspension. Reece Shanley took over the full back position from Corey Burns who moved to centre back with striker Kelvin Fyneboy also in that role.
The Lambs forced a couple of corners in the opening stages but the visitors had the first real chance on 15 minutes when from a free kick on the edge of the area Parson’s shot flew low past Josh Oak’s upright.
The home side responded five minutes later with Brown’s low cross inviting Josh Grant to slot home but he somehow missed the target from close range. Brown was then fouled close to the area; with Tallan Burns taking the kick, the ball was moved about for Burns to have the final touch only to see his effort go over the bar.
Tavistock continued to press for the opener and on the half hour Liam Prynn’s close range effort was blocked close to goal with Grant following up for his first effort saved by keeper Seedhouse-Evans and the rebound blocked. Despite all this pressure the Lambs found themselves a goal down two minutes before half time. A through ball from Donahue split the Lambs defence for Alex Greening to slot home.
Within three minutes of the second half the visitors doubled their lead when from a corner an almighty scramble finally saw their captain Lloyd Beech force the ball home from close range.
At the restart Jack Crago replaced Fyneboy and skipper Dave Hallett slotted into the back four. Crago was immediately in action as a through ball saw him clear of the defence only to see his rising shot tipped over by the keeper for a Lambs’ corner.
Crago was not to be denied as from the resultant set piece he headed home from close range to give the Lambs hope. Their tails were up as they went for an equaliser. Josh Robbins run and cross saw Leon Prynn’s powerful close range volley held by Seedhouse-Evans. A Burns free kick saw Crago glance a header wide before the Tavistock deservedly drew level when Grant put Prynn through on goal and he made no mistake to slot home.
The home side sensed this game was there for the taking with a Prynn cross met by Tyler Elliott only to see his effort off target.
But it was not all Tavistock as Cullompton looked dangerous on the break and with 10 minutes remaining they again regained the lead. The ball was worked forward into the Lambs’ half and Greening shot high from distance and somehow the ball slipped from Oak’s grasp and dropped over the goal line.
The chance for a second equaliser on 85 minutes seemed to have been lost when Elliot had space in the area only to blast over from close range.
However, this flock of Lambs have never given up all season and right at the death of added time from a corner Prynn scored his second with a close range header for a well-deserved equaliser and a share of the points.
Full credit to both sides having played the previous evening and also the officials who equally are having to do many matches in this congested end of season.
