OKEHAMPTON Argyle made a winning start to the new SW Peninsula League campaign when they put four unanswered goals past the University of Exeter at the beginning of August.

They have since lost to both Torrington AFC and Torridgeside AFC with their latest result making it three defeats on the spin.

Argyle visit Middlezoy Rovers at the Ethan Berry Pavilion on Saturday, August 22, and were certainly second best.

Oke had conceded seven to Torridgeside in the days before and it was a 5-0 thrashing that they then endured at Middlezoy.

Josh Prowse notched twice for The Zoy with goals also coming from Mitchell Kearley, Alfie Cox and substitute Victor Matsitsiro.

With four games in the books, Argyle sit 11th at the time of writing, taking three points from the 12 available.

Richard Washburn’s side have two games still to come this month, hosting Crediton United at Simmons Park tonight before then travelling to Ilminster Town on Saturday.
