YELVERTON posted their biggest score of the season and Rob Grove scored his first century for the club in last Sunday's win against East Cornwall side, Cheesewring.  

Rob's 100 not out came off 61 balls and, together with Matt Tamsett (85), they put on 170 for the second wicket. A further 75 from Tom Watkins saw Yelverton reach 330-4 off their 40 overs.

Cheesewring responded at a rapid rate scoring 70 off their first seven overs but then wickets steadily fell and they were all out for 178 after 32 overs.

The pick of the Yelverton bowlers were Ben Payne (3-56) and Ben Grove (2-24).
