ON Saturday, September 28 a fundraising evening was held at the Prince of Wales Inn in Princetown — all in aid of St Luke's Hospice.

The junior (U17s) pool competition was won by Nathan Edge-Downing and a senior (over 18) pool competition won by Nigel Brimacombe. John Steele, one of the event's organisers, presented the trophies. There was also a grand raffle and auction.

The total raised during the evening was £1,235 of which the pool competitions raised nearly £100.
