OKEHAMPTON Squash Club's new year competition attracted 20 players in a hard fought competition.
In the plate final there were some outstanding rallies with neither players giving an inch. In the final set Neil Agnew emerged triumphant over Pete Barnes in an exciting game.
The cup final had Shane Vallance playing Dominic Middleton which was a hard hitting duel with Shane coming out on top.
For 2012 the club is offering a chance for men and women to try the great game of squash which is a great way to get fit and have fun along with the exciting game of racketball, which is currently the fastest growing sport in the UK.
If anybody would like free coaching with all equipment supplied it is available on Tuesdays between 6.20pm-7.20pm for women and 7.20pm-8.20pm for men throughout January.
