ALL the goals were scored in the first half when the Lambs really turned on the style, and showed some top quality finishing, to secure a fifth straight league victory.

The visitors were quick out off the blocks and it was only a last ditch goal line clearance that prevented from taking the lead in the second minute.

The Lambs opened the scoring in the fifth minute when a fine move saw Joe Carey and Ben Davis combining well down the right, Davies inch perfect cross found Ian Rooke, who finished from closed range.

The Moorlanders were back on level terms four minutes later when the Lambs defence was undone by a set piece. A free kick from 30 yards out was floated into penalty area and found Tom Arnold unmarked, his powerful header found the corner of the net.

The Lambs continued to torment the home defence with some fine passing and movement, which saw Rooke and Kelly combine well, only for the latter to see his fine effort scrape the outside of the upright.

Kelly and Rooke again combined well in the 19th minute to set up Carlton Farnham, who with his left foot, found the corner of the net to restore the lead.

Dave Hallett unlocked the home defence two minutes later when his fine run and cross resulted in a goal mouth scramble, but Kelly was the quickest to react and slotted the ball home to make it three for the Lambs.

In the 24th minute a quality passing movement with Hart, Hallett and Carey involved, saw the overlapping Ben Davies produce a magnificent cross for Rooke to head on to Carlton Farnham coming in from the left flank who finished with aplomb.

The home team that had been under siege for long periods almost reduced the arrears when a rare attack resulted in Ed Packet's 35 yard drive clip the top of the visitors crossbar.

The Lambs ended the half in complete control and increased their lead two minute before the interval when Rooke and Kelly again set up Farnham, who complete his classy hat trick with another cool finish.

In the second half the Moorlanders restored some pride with a much improved display, putting in plenty of effort, but never really looking like causing the Lambs any real concerns.

In the first few minutes after the interval the Lambs had a good chance to increase their lead when good passing movement between Joe Carey and Jarryd Kelly, resulted in Carey's 20 yard drive going inches wide of the target.

Bovey's first real and only threat on the visitor's goal in the second half, saw Andy Meeds pull off a fine save to deny Packet from scoring. The Lambs continued to dominate then game and always looked dangerous in attack.

Midway through the half the Lambs made three substitutions, giving the youngsters a taste of this standard of football. All three had come through the U18s team, and looked capable of playing at this level.

It was the Lambs who finished the game the stronger and Kelly rounded two defenders before shooting just wide in the 83rd minute.

This was a really good display by the whole team. New signing Sam Chitty gave a sound display at centre half, and Josh Robbins had another excellent game at left back. Dave Hallett and Dan Hart dominated the middle of the park, and Ian Rooke and Jarryd Kelly caused the home defence problems all the game, with their fine movement and passing.
