YELVERTON Golf Club professionals, Tim McSherry and Adam Frayne, came through a six hole play-off to win the Devon PGA's Fourball Championships at Teignmouth.

Having finished their round with a four under par total of 65, which found them tied for first, they birdied the first, third and fourth extra holes to keep their hopes alive.

Their victory came after a short tap in birdie by Tim, on the sixth extra hole.
