COACHES from Tavistock Rugby Club were at Sandy Park, the home of Exeter Chiefs, among the 150 coaches from clubs across the South West to received expert tuition from the professionals.

The coaches had the chance to meet ESPN's Pete Richards, Exeter Cheifs team manager Robin Cowling and the players from Exeter Chiefs including Peter Short, Ben Moon, Neil Clarke, Lloyd Fairbrother and Will Carrick-Smith.

The coaches – who were mainly minis and junior coaches — got expert advice and coaching help on scrum technique and line-out tips from Exeter Chiefs team manager, Robin Cowling. Local coaches from Tavistock were involved in the coaching session.  

The event, which is part of a nationwide tour by ESPN, who are the broadcaster of Aviva Premiership rugby.
