IT was a great weekend of racing for Tavistock Triathlon Club with members wrapping up their season, both home and abroad.

Cassandra McDowall finished her season strong with the 70.3 Marrakesh in Morocco. With a finish time of 6 hours 59 minutes 31 seconds she completed the race in scorching temperatures to knock off another half Ironman.

Guy Mammatt, Claire Pitcher, Linda Pollard, Hannah Worth and Laura Evenden all competed in the Dartington Duathlon this Sunday with a range of strong times across the board. Linda Pollard and Claire Pitcher were first in their age groups, Laura was third, Hannah Smith was sixth in her age group, with Hannah Worth taking the overall race win.

Alice Burbidge and Jan Chilver both undertook the Tavy7 with strong results.
