More than 42 dinghies and a dozen or more support boats journeyed up river to Weir Quay to land on the small area of foreshore remaining above high tide. This is probably the most small craft seen afloat at any one time in the recent history of Weir Quay.
After suitable refreshment, the visitors set sail for their home ports with a fair wind.
