IN the Tavistock Snooker League Conservative B turned on the style as they won the Jack May Snooker Cup with an emphatic 3-0 victory over West Devon B.
The first frame though found Con B's McKechnie having to pull off a 22 clearance to overcome the solid efforts of a tenacious Colin Bath. West Devon's Roger Rich had no answer to the crisp potting of Con B's Evans who's 31 break enabled him to take the frame with some ease.
The third and deciding frame went the same way with Con B's Monk allowing West Devon's John Rich hardly a look in, as he posted a 62-13 victory, with a 23 break along the way.
This was a solid victory for Conservative B but credit must also go to West Devon B who on a couple of occasions punched above their weight to reach the final in the first place.
