IN the Tavistock Snooker League Conservative A were back on track with resounding 5-0 demolition at West Devon D.
Lacey provided the platform with a combative performance over West Devon's Shoulders. Cook made it two with some solid potting to steam ahead of Decieco. The three came courtesy of a hard earned win for Evans over May, despite the latter's good early work.
Carruthers signalled his intent with a 24 break against West Devon's Shrimpton Junior and continued to pile on the points despite some nice touches from Shrimpton. The five came for the Con D with Longden proving too strong for WDA's skipper Hooper, and with it came a joint top spot on points for the Conservative A.
West Devon B won a gritty encounter away to Con C picking up a useful three points. West Devon's number 12, Bath, put up a fine show but could count himself unlucky to loose out to Con's Neale by fouling in a black ball game.
Horrell pulled WDB level with a solid disposal of Con C's Gliddon and showed what an asset he is going to be for the team.
Jago got the Con's in front again with a victory over Gilchrist, but WDB pulled level again with Roger Rich edging out Wilkinson in a close one.
The deciding frame was left to brother John Rich who beat Roffey with a commanding display to bring the 'bacon' home for the West Devon B.
