RICHARD Davies and Simon Powell won Tavistock Squash and Racketball Club's monthly competition. September was a doubles competition with the pair playing Paul Trueman and Mike Benstead in a close game, with Richard and Simon taking an early lead only for Paul and Mike to peg them back and go 2-1 up. With Richard and Simon taking the fourth game the match went all the way, but Richard and Simon (pictured right) eventually took the deciding game, winning a brand new squash ball for their effort.
