TAVISTOCK Squash and Racketball Club’s monthly competition in July was a racketball team event and with a great turnout it had four teams of four trying to win points for their team.
The club said it was great to see some new faces with several players joining this event for the first time. In the end the main difference was an injury to Paddy Kerr, restricting his movement and Edward Smart showing he can also play racketball. This proved decisive in helping the team of Kate Wright, Simon Powell, Janette Steuart and Edward Smart come out on top.
Next month it is the town club’s quarterly handicapped tournament.
