TAVISTOCK Rugby club Girls section would like to offer any 11 to 17 year old girl the chance to try out rugby this autumn.

No experience is needed, simply come up to the club on any of the next three Sundays from 10am onwards to try out in one of the three age groups.

In terms of equipment you need trainers or boots, shirt and shorts and a drink.

The club play a series of fixtures throughout the year against teams from across the West Country.

The squads are: U13s for Years  6, 7 and 8; U15s for Years 9 and 10; U18s for Years 11, 12 and 13.

Ask for Wendy, Doc or James who will send you in the right direction. It will cost nothing to try out, and almost all girls who have a go at rugby, stay and play for years to come.

In addition, Tavistock Rugby club coaches are happy to coke and run sessions at any primary school in the Tavistock catchment this autumn

Don't forget — Rugby sevens will be in the Olympics in Rio!
