CALLINGTON Community College's U14s boys basktball team became county champions.

The team won the district final against Bude before travelling down to Penryn to play the winners from the other parts of Cornwall. The boys played exceptionally well remaining undefeated as they claimed the county crown.

Last week they represented Cornwall against the Devon County winners Churston Grammar School. After a strong start and a highly competitive match Churston eventually overcame the Callington team winning 62-40.
