TAVYSIDE Badminton' players Celine Conley, Ellie Drage and Hannah Kingman are celebrating successfully completing a badminton coaches' course.

The trio attended the recent UKCC level one coaching course run by Badminton England at Tavistock Community Sports Centre.

Tavyside Badminton was able to put the three players onto the course after they successfully applied for grants from West Devon Borough Council and two local badminton clubs.

Following their success the three new coaches will be supporting badminton coaching at Tavyside Badminton and Horrabridge Badminton Club.

Tavyside Badminton' currently runs junior badminton coaching sessions on a Saturday morning at the Tavistock Community Sports Centre and is looking to reintroduce adult and representative badminton back into Tavistock once time becomes available at the sports centre.
