MOUNT House Girls' hockey teams in three age groups played in different tournaments and all three came away with silver medals.

At the Bryanston Tournament, the Mount House first VII beat Durlston Court 2-0, Barrow Hills (5-0), Hanford (3-1), and drew 1-1 with Port Regis before proceeding to the semi-final where a Milly Ridgers goal beat Dumpton.

In the final Mount House put up a fight but lost 3-0 to Millfield, and came second overall out of the 24 schools competing. Scorers: Becky Manton 5, Milly Ridgers 5, Martha Jacobs, Alice Lamb.

The U11A team worked hard in the group stages of the Exeter Tournament, winning comfortably against Exeter Junior School, Exeter Cathedral School, West Buckland and Claire's Court. As group winners, the girls qualified for a semi-final against Blundells winning 2-0. In the final against Maynard's it went down to extra time with Maynard scoring the winning goal in the dying minutes.

Mount House scored15 goals and only conceded just one all afternoon, and thoroughly deserved their silver medals. Scorers: Annaliese Wright 7, Alice Lamb 4, Tess Campbell-Bareham 3, Millie Frostwick

In the Plymouth College Hockey Tournament, the Mount House U9s drew 1-1 against Kelly, beat Stover (2-0) and Plymouth College (1-0), before drawing 1-1 with both Blundell's and Exeter Cathedral. Mount House finished second to tournament winners Blundells.
