Lewdown firsts v Bradninch

LEWDOWN started the batting well with Tallan Burns and Johan Wessels hitting 58 in first 12 overs. Wessels went on to score a terrific 101. Matt Witcher added 33 and Harry Geering 19 but after that the wickets fell and Lewdown found themslves all out for 216.

With the weather turning Bradninch scored 199 for 4 before bad light forced the game to be abandoned. However, Bradninch won by six wickets on run rate. There were three wickets for Lewdown's Billy Searle and one for Tallan Burns.

Lewdown thirds v Chagford

LEWDOWN thirds travelled to Spreyton to play the Moormen and batted first.

J Marais hit a cracking 56, T Hughes 13, Grahame Horne 12 and Adam Wonnacott 11 as the visitors were soon all out for 123.

Chagford top bowlers were W Barclay (9-2-26-3), R Bars (8-1-36-2) and J Bars (7- 10- 3).

Chagford batted after tea and soon won by hitting 125 with T Hughes (5-0-4-1and J Marais (7-0-30-1) bowling figures for Lewdown.
