THE May Stableford ladies' competition at Yelverton Golf Club was played for the Phyllis Easlick Salver. Former lady captain Penny Hunter gave the trophy in memory of her mother Phyllis Easlick, who was lady captain in 1958 and 1972. Penny (pictured left) presented the trophy to Caroline Theyer who won with 36 points. Sue Rumbold won the May medal competition with an excellent net score of 69. In the Devon Lady Captains Golf Society meeting held at Teignmouth, former Yelverton captain Ray Bovingdon won division two with 32 points.
