THE British Gas Masters Swimming Championships were held at the Life Centre, Plymouth and Kelly College sent a small squad to compete. 

Brothers Robin and Paul Brew both won gold and silver medals. Robin won gold in the 400m freestyle 50-54 age group and took silver in the 1,500m freestyle, while younger brother Paul took gold in the 1,500m freestyle 45-49 age group and silver in the 400m freestyle.    

Geoff Payne, competing in the 70-74 years age group won bronze in the 100m freestyle and placed fourth in the 50m freestyle.

Robin and Paul were joined by Robin Francis and Russell Page-Dove to compete in the medley and freestyle team relays.  Two more gold medals were added to the list.
