SEVEN members of Yelverton Bowling Club undertook a days training on the 15 March in preparation for the new bowling season.

The training was carried out by the Bowls Development Alliance at the Clubhouse in Meavy Lane, Yelverton.

The training will allow the seven to support the club at its public open day being held on Sunday, April 27 from 2pm until 6pm to encourage more people to take up bowls.

The event was sponsored by West Devon Borough Council.
