TAVISTOCK Hockey Club played the annual festive game on the Saturday after Christmas. A good turnout enabled two full teams to be drawn, with the emphasis on youth and experience.

With a good balance of skills, the blue team took on the black in what started as an evenly contested game. After some end to end play, the blues opened the scoring.

The blacks seemed to be suffering a bit more from the festive indulgences and went a further two goals behind before they responded with a goal of their own.

The game was played in great spirit and all returned to the Trout n’ Tipple for some more festive food!
