PLAYING with a strong wind at their back, Bere should have used this to their advantage but continually overhit through balls for Saints keeper to field with ease.

With Ben Stephens leading the line well, he was badly let down with poor service from the wings, who continually put centres out of play but he was unlucky with a good header which just cleared the cross bar. Finally James Follett scored racing through. His shot was saved but the spinning ball found it's way in.

Playing against the wind, Bere found it easier and played the ball around but once again the final ball was lacking. Finally Bere scored and Saints' keeper parried a shot and Ben Stephens gobbled up the loose ball to score. Saints responded inside of a minute.

Bere were caught all over the place for saints to score a 20 yards beauty. Inside of two minutes James Follett reacted to a back pass with Saints' keeper slipping and James Follett reacted quickest to score once again.

Bere were caught ball watching and Mark Webber produced a great save to spare Jason Clancy and Will Westlake who switched off. All throughout Euan McCall was outstanding in midfield.
