IN the Okehampton Ladies Netball League Tonix edged out Halwill Hurricanes 34-31 in a closely fought contest.

This was a tight game from the start with both teams evenly matched and scoring goal for goal. Halwill were leading by one goal at the end of the first quarter but Tonix pulled it back to lead at the end of the second.

Halwill kept their nerve against an as yet unbeaten Tonix and were matching Tonix however Tonix started to put on more pressure and Halwill couldn't hold on with the win just outside their grasp.
