BERE Alston Trekkers have expressed their thanks to everyone who supported the BATS’ Big Breakfast last Saturday.
The running group cooked and served 80 adult breakfasts, eight vegetarian breakfasts, 21 children’s breakfasts and 28 sandwiches.
The cake stall at the event sold out and there was a successful raffle.
The group has also expressed thanks to Stacey Pavely, manager of Bere Alston Co-operative who donated milk, tea bags, coffee, bread and butter.
The purpose of the big breakfast was to raise funds and bring members of the community together in one place to catch up with each other while enjoying something to eat and drink.
