ON Saturday morning five Bere Alston Trekkers (BATs) made the short trip to Brentor to take part in Adam Holland’s Brentor Run – marking Adam and wife Katherine’s first wedding anniversary as they married at the first event last year.

This multi-terrain event from Brentor Parish Hall offered four distances: 5K, 10K, half marathon and marathon with the BATs entered into three of these four. Tanya Argue, Debbie and Paul Ashton took part in the 10K, Fiona Maddock the half marathon and Gary Fielder (running with his son Ajay) the marathon.
