AT YELVERTON Golf Club the ladies' captain team were beaten by the ladies' secretary team by seven and a half to five and a half matches.

Following the end of the event tea and cake was served to celebrate Barbara Berryman's 90th birthday. Barbara came to Yelverton in 1989 and was a strong team member of the Still Cup for 16 years, then played in the Sheelagh Creasey county cup competition for six years.

Barbara only retired from golf in April 2013 but is still an active member of the ladies section.
