TORRENTIAL rain showers didn't prevent an excellent turnout for the Whitchurch Wayfarers annual awards ceremony.

With few games being called off during the year all the teams managed to play most of their fixtures. Leading the way were the men's first XI with their hard earned promotion to D division in the Devon League.
