OKEHAMPTON Junior Netball League has had another successful season.
It has attracted five new teams, making a total of 11.
It meant organisers split them up into two divisions with weekly matches being played since October.
Ian Strawbridge, league chairman, said: ‘There has been some great netball played and some impressive skill and ability shown, particularly in the new teams.
‘The older teams have developed into mature players showing some great team work. The year 9 girls will now leave junior league, having played for three years, and we hope they will progress into the adult league.’
The season ended with two tournaments where each team got to play every team in their division and medals and trophies were presented.
