THE Devon Winter Ability Games take place tomorrow (January 30)at The Life Centre in Plymouth.

This event will provide the opportunity for disabled young people from schools throughout Devon to participate in competitions spanning across four different sports — boccia, indoor rowing, tennis and table cricket — alongside seven taster activities.  

It is part of the Sainsbury's School Games and more than 400 participants are set to take part with more than 70 young people from local schools and colleges crucial in helping to organise the event. 

Commonwealth Games medallist Katherine Endacott will be present at the event as the games' sporting champion.
