Congratulations to Mount Kelly Year 9 pupil and Tavistock Athletics Club member, Ben Pitts, who took the gold medal in the 200m at the South West Indoor Athletics Championships in Cardiff.  This was Ben’s first indoor athletics event, held at the impressive facility at Cardiff Metropolitan University. His winter training had clearly paid off, with Ben achieving a new personal best of 24.37 seconds.
